Adventures in Felt

I have been looking at all kinds of beautiful craft blogs, and I just couldn't sit still any more. My projects aren't nearly as exciting or finely made, but they keep my little raccoon hands and bird brain busy.

Another flower pin.

I'm not sure why I originally bought this yellow felt. I'm sure I had some ambitious thing in mind. This week I decided to turn it into a weird project bag. It kind of looks like pikachu. Pikachu and an envelope.

The Cumberland House

Here's a painting that I finished this week: The Cumberland House (33 St. George St. just north of College- more info here). It's 26" by 30" acrylic on canvas. This took me a while to work out but it was a lot of fun to paint. Process work:

Barton Hall 1977, Version 2

Here is a second version of the Grateful Dead commemorative poster that I designed last month for a favourite show. I simplified the title and added the setlist at the bottom. It's done in illustrator and it's all vector, except for the texture and the clouds in the background. This image is available as a giclee print at my Society6 store.
